Capcom has launched a new playable demo for the new coming Resident Evil Village. However, it is still unknown how and when you will be able to play it.

An hour longer game will be available on all the gaming platforms like- PS4, PS5, Stadia, Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox series X/S, however only for 24 hours. PlayStation players get the chance to play it sooner. However only in two specific 8 hours that will be depending on where you live with the sessions of those two sessions which will be taking place this weekend.

Are you confused? Not to worry we will be explaining it.

What is Resident Evil?

Now what you have to look ahead is the hour of gameplay, across the game’s early village and the castle section. Unlike the other scripted gameplay exclusive first demo this is much more open in the comparison. In this you will be able to do what you like to do either or in both of the two areas, but in the period of 60 minutes in total. Therefore, select wisely.

When will the village Demo come?

The Demo of the game will be made available on the st of May at 5pm/ PDT and 8pm/ EDT in the US which will be 2nd of May at 1 am/ BST 2am/ CEST for the people in Europe

This is going to be an hour-long game, which will be available from the store of your choice. However, since you will only be able to get it for 24 hours, you will have to be quick to take its access.

How can you play the Village Demo session Earlier on PS4 or PS5?

Gamers who have a Sony Console have the chance to play it earlier but its rules are even more complicated. Here instead of getting an hour for both the game sections, here you will be getting only 30 minutes for each i.e. the village and the castle. It is spread across two limited time windows of spans when the demo will be out.

Additionally, unfortunately if you have missed out the last week then you will not be able to get the village part. However, you still have a chance to play the castle section this weekend.

For a reminder for every 8 hours of the window you will only get 30 minutes for the demo. However, the good news is that you will be able to join it again after the next or the full demo comes in. However, PS4 and PS5 holders/players can already start pre downloading the demo.

The global launch of Resident Evil will on the 7th of May. The Resi fans also have the new Netflix series Infinite Darkness. They can watch it as the debut comes this July, along with the Live Action Resident Evil Show which is also about to come.

How can you play it?

This game has two different demos each with a different gaming experience.

Resident Evil Village and Castle Demo Game

This demo will be launching on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, along with Xbox Series X, Xbox one Steam, and Stadia. In this demo, the players will have 60 minutes to choose between the castle and the village. They can play however they want or whatever they won’t either, village or castle but once the 60 minutes are over, they will be excited back from the demo.

8 hours in Village

This demo is exclusively available for PS 4 and PS 5 owners. However, in this demo, Allow Players to play for 30 minutes in each section. So, when the 30 minutes are over the players, will be booted out of the game.

It is a great strategy to keep people intact and curious about the game before the release. A great way to market and promote it. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how the players are going to be hooked up for the real game, when just the demo has so much of shout out. This game has the real potential to be the best game all these years.

Once a game releases it is available in the shops for as long as the customers need it. Hence it is highly rare that a developer would remove the game, even after a long time of its release. In order to create hype around the title Resident Evil, Capcom is releasing multiple demos from time to time. However, if the gamer or the player misses out on the demo game, then he or she will have to wait till May till the full game is released. Resident Evil Village has been the most predicted game to be released in 2021 before that player can take part in the demo. All the best and change the GAME!
